Fungal FoeBackground:Authorities state that 80 million (1 out of 3) Americans may have too much candida albicans in their systems. Candida is a fungal yeast infection. The list of problems that a candida overgrowth may cause are shocking. The tricky thing about candida is that it is a naturally occurring yeast in our bodies. The body can become overpopulated with it before the immune system will react. When the immune system does finally react, it is not necessarily to the candida overgrowth. It responds to the many candida toxins causing bacterial, viral and parasitic mass production. Even if the immune system is strong enough to handle the multiple critters birthed by the candida toxins, the candida infection itself still stays intact systemically in the body creating havoc on all levels. Then the entrenched candida simply begins again. More and more toxins are produced while the overworked immune system struggles to readjust and salvage what it can from onslaught to onslaught. Meanwhile, you, the candida victim, just get sicker and sicker from one infection then another until a total collapse becomes imminent. Some conditions that have been clinically connected to a candida overgrowth invasion are: constipation; memory loss; depression; headaches; nausea; hyperactivity; ear fluids; dizziness; lost taste and smell; hives; acne; dry mouth; bad breath; schizophrenia; all types of infections including Epstein-Barr virus, chronic fatigue syndrome and AIDS susceptibility; prostatitis; poor digestion; cystitis; arthritis; kidney infections; multiple sclerosis; cancer; allergies. Practically any internal imbalances may also be helped by Fungal-Foe. Many of these types of infections are related. Two other products that are excellent adjuncts to Fungal-Foe are Free Breath, which addresses lung fungal imbalances, and Colonize which supports the entire immune complex and stops leaky gut that is sometimes caused by candida over-proliferation. A yeast-free diet is recommended but very hard to handle. The first thing I tell clients is to stop all fruit. Above all things, candida and all fungal infections love fruit. Next, reduce as much as possible milk sugar, other types of sugar, carbohydrate/refined/ white flour type breads, rice and potatoes. Reduce cheese, wine, beer, brewer’s yeast, white vinegar, mushrooms and malt for at least 21 days. Then see how this, plus a hefty dose (9 or more a day) of Fungal-Foe works. In my opinion, the undisputed classic book on the subject of candida is “The Yeast Connection” by William G. Crook, M.D. Prepare for a candida kill-off. These can be a little rough. These are flu-like symptoms that will pass in a few days. Don’t take anything to suppress this kill-off; just let it ride through. Any unnatural intervention will just cause the fungus and/or candida to go wild again. Description of Ingredients:1. Black Walnut Hulls (Green Rind ) This is the primary ingredient in Fungal-Foe because it is the one I see work best against fungal infections and candida in particular. When nothing else was working for candida, black walnut always helped. 2. Pippli This pepper has the effect of creating a type of energetic vapor in the system when combined precisely with black walnut. The idea here is that candida is so pervasive that only something of this nature could settle into the many corners and crevices where it is hiding. It significantly increases the absorption of all the other nutrients, as well as having a fungal killing effect of its own. Remember, candida takes over the inner part of the cell, destroying its ability to produce antibodies, and creates acetaldehyde, imbalancing collagen, fatty-acids, and blocking nerve synapses. 3. Olive Leaf Extract Very powerful. Has a well documented effect on candida and fungus as well as all other infections. Used here to balance the water element. 4. Gentian Scarbrae Used in Chinese medicine as an antifungal for candida. 5-9. Ze Xie, Dang Shen, Bia Zhu, Chuan Xiong & Ling Zhi Cao In this combination, these Chinese herbs are excellent for fungal and other infections. I used them as part of my primary thrust into the body to control candida. 10. Tillandsia A type of moss with outstanding antifungal, anti-yeast action in the body. 11. Chebulic Myrobalan The “king of medicines” in Tibetan methodology. This supplement gives a balance to the formula. Also good for digestion. 12. Spilanthes Acmella Some texts purport this to be very beneficial against candida overgrowth. It not only exhibits bacteriostatic properties, but antimalarial too. Used here to balance the earth element. 13. Astralagus An adaptogen herb used to support immune function while retarding excess candida. 14. Lavender Flowers Good for fungal imbalances. Very soothing to the affected areas. 15. Myrrh Powder Very powerful antiviral and antifungal. 16. Grapefruit Seed Extract Recent clinical research shows this extract to be helpful against candida and other fungi almost 95% of the time. 17. Pau D’Arco A South American bark that aggressively goes after candida. 18. Colostrum A small amount is added of mother’s milk to balance this formula in the colon. A great immune system support. 19. Garlic Known for centuries as an antifungal food. 20. PABA Helps to mitigate some of the skin problems brought about by too much candida. 21. Inulin Has been recently shown to help with candida as FOS. Used here to aid the digestion of this formula. 22. Rosemary Has digestive and antiseptic qualities. 23. N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine (NAG) Used to reduce candida by acting as a glue component for body cells, shutting it out from the inner cell. 24. Eucalyptus Long known antifungal agent. 25. Barberry Stimulates the immune system’s white blood cells to fight against candida. 26. Oregon Grape Root Related to barberry. Known to help vaginitis. 27. Tea Tree Oil One of the greatest anti-fungicides known. Very powerful. 28. Caprylic Acid An aggressive antifungal fatty acid. 29. Thyme Has thymol and carvacol disinfectants which are antifungal. Also used here to help with the digestion of this formula. 30. Licorice This is added to harmonize for formula and soothe out some of the more aggressive components. With its carbohydrate glycosides, it inhibits fungal growth. 31. Turmeric Used here as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger. 32. Bee Propolis Has ancient history of antiviral, bacterial and fungal activity. 33. Sheep Sorrel Used as an antiparasitic. I like this herb for what I see it do clinically to candida overgrowths. 34. Colloidal Silver Used to kill bacterial and fungal infections. 35,36. Echinacea, Goldenseal I added these for their antifungal properties and their immune stimulating effects. 37. L-Cystine An amino acid that helps fungus and candida overgrowth. 38. Magnesium Salicylate The salicylates have known antifungal properties. 39. Cloves Has antiparasitic and antifungal actions. Used here to balance the fire element. 40. Henna Supports the spleen and liver. 41. Usnea Lichen A strong antifungal. Also used for lupus. 42. Cinnamon Used for its warming, catalytic effect on the energy pathways of the body. Has antifungal action. 43,44. Wormseed, Wormwood Great medicine against all kinds of worms. These often feed off of fungal by-products. Also used for digesting this formula. 45. Lemon Grass Balm Good for balancing this formula. Allows circulation of nutrients to proper locations in the body. 46. Peppermint Oil Used as a digestive aid for this formula.
