Tailoring around the needs of your business, I
can help implement effective marketing tools and strategies that
will enhance the look and feel of your services. Although I do
not have a degree in graphic design, I have experience in
designing logos, format and layout for brochures, menus, flyers,
newsletters etc. I also have experience in web design, in fact,
you're looking at one of my designs now!
The first step in developing a new graphic
design is to determine the needs of the client, and the message
the design should portray and its appeal to customers and users.
When designing I consider not only you and your business, but
who are your customers and target audiences. I will meet with
you to determine your needs.
I will prepare a few samples to illustrate the
vision for the design and with feedback from you, the client, we
will finalize an end product for you to take to print.
All files will be given to you on a cd rom and
printing will be your responsibility.
My main source of clients are small business
owners. I strive to offer services that are both affordable and
professional.

Samples of Designs

Like me, Steve has his hands in a few things. He
requested a card that had his DJ services on one side and his
craftsmanship on the other. I wanted a way to bridge the two
since they were on such opposite ends of the spectrum. So I came
up with the idea to have him climbing over one side of the card
and hanging over with his hammer. We took a few photos impromptu
and I played around with them to come up with a funky cartoonish
look.

Muddy Waters wanted a new gift certificate
look, I gave their certificate a new flavor and printed the
certificates on tan parchment paper to give the look of coffee
stains. I perforated the left side so the recipient could tear
off the business card size of certificate and easily keep it in
their purse or wallet.

My idea with their menu was to create the idea
of coffee rings but also circles to represent all the circles of
friends who have gathered and met at the coffee bar. Muddy
Waters has been a very central place for people to come together
and make new friends so I wanted their menu to represent all
those little clusters of people.

With Normandy Farm I wanted to give the
certificate the feel that is was a loaf of bread. I created the
same perforated business card size for the recipient to carry. I
was able to re-do all of Normandy Farm's marketing material and
signs giving it a much cleaner look. Stop in for a loaf of bread
and check out their menu and all the signs ... I'm sure you'll
love the bread and the design!

Obviously working with concrete was the
inspiration for the concrete wall in his card. This card
actually printed beautifully, there is a lot of texture and
detail in the actual card that isn't picked up even in the photo
here.

This is the IT game I developed, I wanted to
have a catchy look to it, I package the game in 4" round tins
with these labels on top. It has a trendy feel to it, makes
people curious what is inside.
